Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law Margarita C. Aleman, 90, was at her son's home surrounded by her loving family and passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Saviour on March 29, 2018. She was born in Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and proudly became a United States citizen in 1993. She received her driver's license at the young age of 60.
Margarita was a member of The Guadalupanas, church choir and a devout parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, cooking, gardening, crafts, dancing and was a self-taught fabulous seamstress. She loved her family dearly and lived life to the fullest.
Margarita is preceded in death by her parents and husband Santiago Aleman.
Margarita is survived by; daughter Ludivina Narvaez and husband Teodoro; son Sergio Aleman and wife Leticia; daughter Antonia Martinez and husband Tomas; son Santiago Aleman and wife Blanca; daughter Lupe Tristan and husband Jesse; daughter Fina Yepes and husband Tony; and son Carlos Aleman and wife Chris. As well as 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Margarita will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4015 Sherman St., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
