On Friday March 2, 2018 in Houston, Texas Maria del Refugio Gonzalez Rivera "Cuca" peacefully went to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! She was Born on September 2, 1936 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents, Eugenio Gonzalez and Victoria Ramos.
Maria was preceded in death by her loving husband of 11 years, Librado Rivera; four siblings, Ricardo Gonzalez Ramos, Maria Gonzalez De Gutierrez, Carmen Gonzalez Ramos, Gregorio Gonzalez Ramos; and daughter Lina Lee Rivera.
She is survived by her three children, Moses Quiroz, Miriam Quiroz Herrera, Maryann Rivera. Grandchildren: Salvador Sandoval Jr, Jessica Lee Rodriguez, Sonny Quiroz, Sandy Lee Balderas Bata, Jesus Balderas, Jorge Balderas, Jose Balderas, Adrian Balderas. 10 Great-grandchildren: Isaac Sandoval, Alexandra Rodriguez, Santiago Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, Melanie Bata, Genesis Bata, Jocelyn Bata, Lynette Bata, Emily Balderas, Marissa Balderas. Sister, Alicia Gonzalez de Pardillo; as well as numerous family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm,
with a funeral service friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the family Chapel at brookside Funeral Home,and the burial to follow at Brookside Memorial park and Cemetery.
