Maria Solache Delgado

Maria Delgado, 81 of Sugar Land, Texas was born March 6, 1942 in Mexico to Felix Solache and Diega De Soto and passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and family was everything to her. She was well known for her love of cooking and has many great recipes that she loved to prepare. She was very inclusive of everyone and took care of her grandkids and great-grandkids as she did her only daughter. She enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slot machines. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and after moving to Sugar Land became a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Juan Delgado; daughter, Angela Delgado; 4 grandchildren, Maria Isabel Macias and husband, Oscar; Juan Carlos Jove and wife, Violeta; Luis A. Jove and wife, Inosensia; Lucero Jove and husband, Beau; grandchildren, Nevaeh Jove, Julian Jove, Arleth Jove, Angela Abril Jove, Ulises Jove and Luis Jove, Jr. along with her sister, Maria Guadalupe Nuñez.

She is preceded in death, by her parents Felix Solache and Diega Soto De Solache.

Funeral services will be held, 10:00am Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial following at Forest Park Lawndale. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00pm until 9:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm.
