Don, Jimmy & Family,
   I knew Marie through Pauline in Kilgore for so many years.  Pauline called me about Marie's passing.  I want you to know how "wonderful" all the past times, from coming down & staying at her home in Houston to phone visits and times here in Kilgore.  She was one of the most fun & supportive people I've ever known.  We all hoped she would dance & live forever, and can look forward to being together again in the after life. Jimmy & Don and family,
I am so sorry that I couldn't be there today for Aunt Marie's funeral.  She and Uncle Mervin were such a positive part of our childhood and then Aunt "Rie" was so close to Mother when it was just the two of them left.  I will always cherish the fact that Marie is my middle name.  I don't have to tell you or your children how much she loved you.  We all knew that.  God Bless and know that we'll be thinking of you.  Your cousin, Bonnie Marie Green Carter.

Grandma Marie as I have always known her, it the epitome of what true grace is.  She was a woman of class and full of love to all.  she never spoke a bad word about anyone.  

I will truly miss this lady.
