Marie Ellen Levy

Marie Ellen Levy, known throughout her life as Ellen, was born 12/28/60 and died 10/28/14. She is survived by her very beloved mother Marie Ellen Voorhies, and her siblings Charles R. Parkerson, Lydia L. Lindberg, John D. Levy and C. Van Levy. She was also survived by her nephew and nieces: Tavis Parkerson, Lauren Parkerson, Alexandra Levy and Julie Levy. Ellen was predeceased by her much loved father John B. Levy. While Ellen's life was marked with extensive challenges as special needs person she faced those challenges with the utmost courage. She spread and expressed her love of others always. She was gracious and exceedingly grateful for the smallest of favors bestowed upon her. She brought happiness and joy to those around her and maintained a subtle wit. She made better people of those she encountered. Her loss has much saddened her family who will truly miss her. Bye, bye Lollipop, and yes Jesus does love you!

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 2:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A chapel service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Houston, Texas.
