

Mrs. Hutton grew up in Dallas, Texas and was the second of three family generations to graduate from Highland Park High School. In Dallas, Marilyn dedicated herself to supporting her husband Mark's business activities and daughter Sharon's school and related activities. In 1978, Marilyn and Mark retired to enjoy many happy years on Lake Sam Rayburn until Mark's death and Marilyn's move to Houston to spend more time with family. Regardless of where Marilyn lived, she was dedicated to actively participating in the activities of her Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon and husband Henry King; two grandchildren, Clay King and Grant King; and four great-grandchildren, Cole, Avery, Connor and Cameron.
The funeral service is to be conducted at half-past ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 25th of August, in the Sanctuary at Memorial Drive Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Drive in Houston, where Rev. Richard W. Goodrich, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Friendship Court.
The graveside service is to be conducted at half-past ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 26th of August, at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 4118 Samuell Boulevard in Dallas.
In lieu of customary remembrances, those desiring may make contributions in Marilyn’s name to Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX. 77079.
