Marites Maniego Laxamana

Marites Maniego Laxamana graduated at College of the Holy Spirit with Junior Secretarial Course on April 1984. She also attended secondary’s school at Tarlac High School and primary school at Santo Cristo Elementary School. She migrated to Houston on October 15, 1997 had a successful career in retail and sales as a Senior Supervisor at International Shoppes Duty Free, George Bush International Airport. She enjoys watching movies and Korean Dramas, an avid collector of anything and all about Hello Kitty, loves to travel and spends a lot of time bonding with family and friends. She had a very content and simple life. But most of all she was very loving, caring and generous person willing to help and devote time when needed.

Marites Maniego Laxamana is survived by husband Danilo Laxamana and Paulo Gallevo (loved as son) parents Ernesto (Sr) and Gloria Maniego, Brothers: Harry, Henry, Ernesto (Jr), Hernan and Ernest, Sisters: Marisor Maniego Alberto, Eileen Davenport and Marilou Maniego; Nephews: Adriel, Derrick, Darryl, Rylen, Edzel, Aedrick, Jeremy, Julian, Alex, Kyle, Victor, John Anthony, Westley and Nieces: Hannah, Leah, Abby, Ailani, Khyla, Nicole.

Visitation for Marites will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Fwy Houston, TX 77039, 281-449-6511.

A memorial service will occur on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 @ 11:00 AM at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy Porter, TX 77365, 281-358-6637.
