Mark was a most devoted husband to his surviving wife, Deborah Mason Delz, and father to three surviving children, Mark Delz Jr. (his wife Jennifer), Melissa Bonser (her husband Brandon), and Megan Corley (her husband David). He is also survived by one grandchild.
Mark was born on October 7, 1949 in Houston to Alvin Delz Jr. and Betty Hudson Delz. He attended Westbury High School and worked for over 40 years as a master auto mechanic. Mark lived in Texas throughout his life. In 1982 he married his wife Deborah, and together they shared 34 years of blissful marriage and raised three children. Throughout his life, Mark's easy-going spirit and unfailing moral compass left an impression on those around him. After retirement in 2009, Mark enjoyed woodworking, photography, tending to his gardens, and doting on his beloved Debbie.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Brookside Funeral Home in Houston, TX where a visitation was held on December 29. Mark was laid to rest in the presence of his loved ones on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10 AM.
