Mark Rodgers, 59, was born on May 7, 1954 and passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18th. Mark graduated from Sharpstown High School in 1973. The last 28 years of his career were spent with Namasco/Kloeckner Metals. He retired earlier this year. Mark led a quiet life, enjoyed books and movies and had an interest in science and history. He is preceded in death by his father, J. D. Rodgers. He is survived by his mother, Jessie Martin Rodgers of Houston, his sister Jayne Hawley of Farmers Branch, Texas and his nephews Michael and Benjamin Hawley of Farmers Branch, Texas and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston from 9:00 AM to10:00 AM on Friday, November 22, 2013. The funeral service will follow visitation at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery
