Martha Ruth Anderson, 85, of Huffman, Texas, passed away on June 6, 2025. She was born in North Zulch, Texas on September 6, 1939 to parents Ira and Dessie Vaughn. She met Sidney Anderson Jr. In Bay City, Texas and they got married on July 12, 1957.
Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church in Huffman, Texas. She loved being outdoors and enjoying nature. The most important thing to Martha was her family, she had a beautiful soul, a caring heart for everyone she met, and always had a smile on her face.
Martha is preceded in death by Ira and Dessie Vaughn (parents), Peggy Underwood (sister), Barbara Hattenbach (sister), Sidney Anderson Jr. (husband), Amanda Gonzalez (granddaughter), and Larry Love (son in law).
Martha is survived by Terry Love (daughter), Mark Anderson (son), Kathy Anderson (daughter), Caleb Anderson (grandson) and wife Kori, Jacob Anderson (grandson) and wife Marissa, Josh Anderson (grandson), Kimberly Young (granddaughter) and husband Ron, Nikki Love (granddaughter), James Gonzalez (grandson in law), Jasmine, Aeris, Jada, Andrew, Jaxson, Bentley, Beckham, Luke, Addyson, Sydnee, and Damian (great grandchildren), Christi Stephenson (niece) and husband Cody, and several other nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Young, James Gonzalez, Keith Colbert, Caleb Anderson, Jacob Anderson, and Josh Anderson.
