Mary Ann Akers, 70, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born on December 24, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Benjamin Vincent Schiller and Elizabeth "Betty" Lejsal Schiller.
She is survived by her husband Jimmey Lee Akers, daughter, Pamela Kay Akers Koch and her husband Gregory Thomas Koch, sister, Betty Tice, brothers, Ben Schiller and Joe Schiller. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Emily Rose Koch and Sarah Elizabeth Koch and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Akers was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Advantage Howard Glendale, 1015 Federal Rd, Houston, Texas 77015. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery at 10:00 A.M.
