Mathilda Gonzales, age 48, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Mathilda was born October 25, 1973. She was married to Jesus Lewis Gonzales on February 14, 1990. Mathilda loved her family, friends, pets, and cooking.
She is preceded by her father Esteban M. Fernandez
Mathilda is survived by her husband Jesus Lewis Gonzales; mother Margarita Fernandez; daughter Annette Gonzales; sons Jesus Gonzales Jr., Jasper Gonzales; grandchildren Reyna Mathilda Gonzales, Anastasia Carolina Camacho; sister Neomi Garcia, Erick Garcia (husband); brother Esteban Fernandez Jr., Kathy Fernandez (Wife); nephew Angel Fernandez; nieces Ariel Fernandez, Aysa Fernandez, Alexis Fernandez, Annisty Fernandez, and Kalani Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends.
A visitation for Mathilda will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A rosary service will occur Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A mass service will occur Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 77365.
Serving as pallbearers are Jasper Gonzales, Angel Fernandez, Marcelo Garza, Blas Garza III, Esteban Fernandez Jr and Javier Lievanos.
