March 18, 1996 – November 15, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Micah Alan Middleton, age 28, on November 15, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Born on March 18, 1996, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Micah lived a vibrant life filled with passion, curiosity, and love.
Micah was a devoted father, son, brother, and partner, with an endless thirst for knowledge and an unyielding commitment to his family. A lifelong enthusiast of sports, Micah’s passion extended beyond the game—he lived for the camaraderie and lessons they brought. He was a natural tinkerer, often found with a tool in hand, working on his car, motorcycle, or the next project that sparked his creativity. Known for his sharp wit, humor, and boundless imagination, Micah had a gift for making people laugh while also making them feel protected and loved.
Micah’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his family: his mother, Tina Kuligowski, his father, Mark Middleton, his sister, Mary Middleton, and his beloved son, Nathan Middleton. He was cherished by his grandparents, Bruce and Donna Johnson, and uncles, Todd and Tom Johnson, as well as his girlfriend, Jennifer Ramos, with whom he shared a deep connection.
A memorial service to celebrate Micah’s life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Brookside Funeral Home – Cypress, located at 9149 Highway 6 N., Houston, TX 77095. Everyone is invited to La Madeline, 19710 Northwest Freeway, US-290 Suite 100, Houston, Texas 77065, immediately after his memorial service.
Micah was inspired by strong, thoughtful figures like David Goggins, Matthew McConaughey, and Joe Rogan. As Matthew McConaughey once said, “The responsibility we have is to our community, to our family, and to ourselves—to connect, to contribute, and to thrive together.” Micah embodied this sentiment fully, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Though he left us far too soon, Micah’s laughter, strength, and love will remain with us forever. In honor of his memory, let us cherish the connections we share with one another, as Micah always did.
