Michael Keith Crabtree, age 41, born September 16, 1973 in Houston, Texas, suddenly passed away on October 20, 2014 in San Marcos, Texas, joining his beloved family members who preceded him in death.
Michael “Keith” attended the University of Texas for 2 years before beginning his career in computer support for communications and cloud computing companies. His creativeness moved his life to revolve around computers and was happiest being deep into solving any computer related issue. He later went back to school and graduated with a degree and related certifications. Anytime Keith found something new he wanted to know in his field, he read and taught himself. He remained a life long supporter of the University of Texas football, but somehow over the years became an avid soccer fan, routinely watching European soccer, particularly enjoying World Cup matches. A very private person, people were attracted to Keith’s wit and sense of humor. His puppy Chase was his most devoted companion.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter “Dusty” Rhoads, Robert Crabtree, and “Nickie” Crabtree, along with his uncle Craig Crabtree. He is survived by parents Dennis and Sheri Crabtree, sister Carey Crabtree, grandmother Ann Rhoads, aunts and uncles Pat and Harry McDonald, Jeff and Johnna Crabtree and Carol Crabtree, and numerous cousins and extended family.
In honor of Keith’s casual life style, please dress informally for the memorial service. Donations may be made to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers. In memory of Keith, the family will be making a donation to Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome Association (CVSA) at [email protected] or CVSA P.O. Box 925 Elkhorn, WI. 53121.
