He was born at St. Joseph Hospital, Houston, TX, on Nov. 25, 1942 to Gordon and Jean Harrison. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1965. Mike worked as an oil well pipe inspector and finished his career with KBR Technical Services, Inc.
He was happily married to his beloved wife Alice DuBose on Mar. 8, 1980. He was an active member of Bering Drive Church of Christ. Mike is survived by his wife Alice, his sister, Honey Harrison, son Patrick and daughter-in-law Rachel, and son Gordon and his fiancée Jessica, all of Houston, TX.
A memorial service will be held at Bering Drive Church of Christ, located at 1910 Bering Drive, Houston, 77057, on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at 10:30 AM. He will be interred in a private ceremony at the Houston National Cemetery
