Mike Reed Family and Friends 

My husband and I wanted to attend today, but my own health issues won’t allow me.

Many times while cooking meals for my husband, I would have enough to share and I would call Mr Mike (as I call him) and say I have this or that food would you eat?  His response would be Yes Ms Pat and I would carry it to his apartment.  He would answer the door and might be folding clothes in front of dryer…he would say come on in and put it in the refrigerator please.

We will surely miss him in our community.

Our family sends heartfelt condolences on the passing of Michael Reed, lovingly known to family and friends as Maestro.

As you go through this time of grief, know that the days may feel long and sorrow may weigh heavy on your hearts. Tears will fall, but remember that God is a good God. Maestro now rests among the angels, free from pain, smiling alongside his mother and the many loved ones who went before him.

To his brother, Douglas, fondly known as Chain, your love was unwavering and your dedication in caring for Maestro throughout the years did not go unnoticed. We pray that God grants you peace and comfort, knowing you were a blessing in your brother’s life. 

May God give all family members and friends the strength to face each day as you long to hear Maestro’s voice and see him again. Trust that God has not made a mistake but has instead chosen another beautiful flower for His heavenly garden.
