Mike Muse 96, of Houston, Texas went to join his heavenly father November 15, 2019 while surrounded by his family. Mike was born March 24, 1923 to Phillip Muse and Katherine Lazarone Muse in Hearne, Texas. He served honorably in the United States Army during World War II where he was stationed in England. While in the war he heard and saw the buzz bombs launched by the German’s over London.
After his discharge from the Army Mike became a successful entrepreneur in the Houston area from the 1950’s until present day as a business owner and real estate investor. He had great determination and commitment to his family and refused to be defeated.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his beloved wife Julia Cash Muse, father in-law Joe Cash and mother in-law Rose Buttecalli Cash, brother Joe Muse and sisters Katy Muse Licce, Mary Muse Bush, Josephine Muse Ebrom, Tina Muse Messina, Lena Muse Stratta and son in-law Joseph Michael Quartaro.
Mike was survived by his daughters Kay Muse Salvato, spouse Frank Carl Salvato, and Phyllis Muse Quartaro. Grandchildren include Dayna Quartaro Noski and husband Mark, Matthew Quartaro and wife Lydia, Lindsey Quartaro, Cara Salvato McKee and husband Patrick, Carl Salvato and granddaughter in-law Kalee McKenzie Salvato.
Also, survived by his great grandchildren Hailey and Carter Salvato, Brayden Noski, Alyssa and Case Mckee, Evelyn and Camilla Quartaro, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honored to serve as casket bearers during the services are Matthew Quartaro, Carter Salvato, Mark Noski, Frankie Virgadamo, Jason Virgadamo, Phillip Muse, Joseph Muse, and Joe John Stratta.
