Mrs. Minnie Soria of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully in her home the morning of April 3, 2021. A lifelong resident of Houston, Minnie was an avid seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. Her home is filled with her talented and beautiful work for all to enjoy and remember her. A wonderful cook, Minnie never let a person leave her house hungry. Her love will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Abraham G. Soria; parents, Eustaquio Romero and Crescencia Castilleja; siblings Dominga “Minga” Herrera, Felix Romero, Leocadio “Cayo” Romero, Fidela Nunez, Raymond Romero and Gilbert Romero.
She is survived by her children Eddie Soria, Debbie Cude and James Soria; daughter-in-law Patty Soria; siblings Max Romero and Barbara Martinez; grandchildren Anthony Silvestre (Tori), Toni Marie Kane (Ben), James Michael Soria (Soledad), Henry “Hank” Luera, Steven Soria and Vanessa Soria; great-grandchildren Michael Silvestre, Gabby Silvestre, Madison Kane, Maddy Silvestre, Aaron Soria, Benjamin Kane, Aidan Soria, Abraham Kane, Lex Andrew Manzano, Christina Luera and Gabriel Luera. Viewing will be on Thursday, April 15th at Crespo Funeral Home, 2516 Navigation Blvd. at 5:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:00 PM. Celebration of Life Mass will be on Friday, April 16th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd. & Interment to follow at 11:00 AM at Forest Park – Lawndale.
