Minnie I. Thompson, 95, passed away September 25, 2013 in Bellaire, TX. She was born to Flotha Harrison Isenberg and Lula Ramsey Isenberg near Dixon, MO. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Houston, TX and was an active volunteer for 25 years with Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mabel Paula Cody; husband, Claude L. Heavin; husband, Jesse L. Thompson. She is survived by her son, William Floyd Heavin & wife, Jeannine of Austin, TX; grandson, Reagan William Heavin of Falls Church, VA; granddaughter, Kelly Smith & husband, Joshua Smith, M.D. of New York, NY; niece, Darlene Black & husband, Lloyd Black, Sr. of Blue Springs, MO; great nephew, Lloyd Black, Jr. of Kansas City, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home with interment following at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
