Minoo Faredoon Kasnavia
April 28, 1939 – August 30, 2025
Today, we gather in spirit and with love to celebrate the life of Minoo Faredoon Kasnavia whose presence graced our world with kindness, resilience, and a quiet generosity that touched many who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was born Minoo Faredoon Irani in Bombay, India to Dolly and Faredoon Irani. He is survived by his wife, Shirin, brother Noshir, children Abadan (spouse Armin), Parinaz (spouse Khodadad), Tirandaz (spouse Nilufar), grandchildren – Malcolm (spouse Naomi), Marc (spouse Simi), Komron (spouse Auzana), Bhryan, Aaron, Priyanka (spouse Otney Jr.), and great grandchildren – Zara, Lily, Liam, Deia, and Leila.
Minoo was a horticulturist both at heart and profession. He was self-made, self-taught and started farming when he was young, working on his father’s farm. Farming was his passion, and he loved it. During his life, he continued to evolve, but one constant remained for him – his thirst for knowledge and exploring different things, till the very end.
Minoo was committed to maintaining strong family bonds and consistently prioritized keeping his family close together throughout his life. Above all, he loved his wife unconditionally, and just as he would have wanted, he had his entire family, all whom he loved and all who loved him, by his side as he passed away peacefully.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their love, wishes and support as we today let Minoo go and join his loving parents and siblings. He will be loved and remembered, and we pray to carry on his legacy of love and togetherness through our lives.
With deepest gratitude for a life that made the world a kinder, richer place, we remember, we honor, and we give thanks for his presence in our lives. As Minoo would say to everyone he spoke to – “God Bless you and your family”
