Henry Cosey was born September 15, 1944 in Cameta, Mississippi to James Cosey and Narnie Mitchell. He departed this life April 12, 2017 about 5:45 in the morning. He was baptized at the age of 12 and was a graduate of Aqunilla High School Mississippi. Henry was the father of six children, five sons and one daughter; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He leaves in God’s care: Barbara Cosey, Ruth Rayford, Jesse Dennis, Mary Roman (Carmelo), Elise Spells (Charles), James Earl Cosey, Jr., Shirly Mitchell (H. L.), Lelois Lewis, Beverly Ivory (Johnny), Terry Mitchell, Alexander Mitchell, Lisa Mitchell, Olivia Cosey, Pearly Mae Scott, Martha Scott, Willie Scott and a very special friend Kathy Comb. Henry is preceded in death by James Cosey, Narnie Mitchell, Mayor Cosey, Charlie Cosey, James Earl Cosey and Magdelean Ball.
