Mr. Kenneth Wayne Reed

On June 2, 1960, in Houston, Texas Kenneth Wayne Reed was born a blessing unto William and Veola Reed. He was born the third son of five children. As an adolescent he served as an usher and choir member at Greater Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Kenneth Wayne received a formal education from Forest Brook High School. He was a proud loving father of two beautiful children: Keyshane Reed and LaChassity Turner. He worked for Hertz Rental Car and also put in many years at MD Anderson, providing guest transportation. In his leisure, Kenneth loved watching sports, playing dominoes, washing and detailing cars and most of all enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. After all of trials and tribulations he decided it was time to show dedication. He gave his life to Christ and joined Loving Word Fellowship Church under the direction of Pastor Paul D. Landrew. He made his final transition from his earthly life into eternal rest on February 9, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by William Reed (father); Veola Richardson (mother) and Larry Reed (brother). Those left behind to cherish his memories, love and laughter include his children Keyshane Reed (Angela) and LaChassity Turner (Vivian); his two sisters Rita and Sheila Reed; one brother Gene Audrey Dixon, ten grandchildren, whom he truly adored and a host of other relatives and friends
