Mrs. Hilda Marie Perry

In Maurice, Louisiana on May 21, 1925, a set of identical twin girls was born to Edwin Norman SI: and Olita (Boudreaux) Norman. They were named Hilda Marie and Wilda Mary Norman. In their late teens they moved to Houston, Texas, where Hilda met and married Thea Perry Sr., on February 12, 1949. To this union four children were born Hilda Ann Perry, Thea Joseph Perry, Jr; Hilda Marie Perry Jr. and Joan Ann Perry. She was a loving wife, caring; and devoted mother. Hilda accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and teas baptized at the Jordan River. Her faith started at an early age in the Catholic Church and 18 years later joined Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. She was a strong Christian women that maintained her faith in Christ who loved to minister to others. She leaves to cherish in her memories: her loving husband Theo Perry, Sr.: her children, Theo Joseph Perry, Jr.(Lavine), Hilda Marie Perry, Jr.; and Joan Ann Perry; nine grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; brothers, Edwin Norman, Jr. of Lafayette, and Herbert Norman (Anna Lou) of Maurice, Louisiana, sisters, Calvina Welch of Los Angeles, California, Florence Bushnell (Gerald) of Carson, California, Olita Norman of La Marque, Texas: five granddaughters-in-laws; one grandson-in-law: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She has gone to meet those who have preceded her in death a daughter, Hilda .Ann Perry. her parents, Edwin Norman, Sr. and Olita Mae Norman; sisters, Wilda Trahan (twin), Rose Roy, Dorothy Norman, Velma Arceneaux; brothers, Sharbet Norman, Kerbert , Norman, Clarence Norman, and Roosevelt Norman.
