

Olivia R. Molett was born to Olivia and Willie Ernest Washington on January 2, 1941 in Houston, Texas. She attended grade school, at Gregory Elementary and graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School. At the age of six, she met her husband; they were united in Holy Matrimony at the Age of Twenty on September 2, 1961. She confessed Christ at an early age at New Pleasant Green Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Charles O'Bryant. At the time she was called to be with the Lord, she was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Houston, Texas, under the leadership of Dr. Edwin A. Davis (Pastor). She was a dedicated employee of the City of Houston for twenty-seven years and has been retired since January 1, 2001. She leaves to cherish her memories: loving Husband, Kenneth Molett Sr. Sister: Ludell Robinson, Children: Kenneth Molett Jr., Monica Molett-Theragood, Glenda Molett-Pickens (Gregory Pickens), Bother-in-law: Kenneth Drennan, A host of Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and devoted Friends. Olivia R. Molett has joined the loved ones who preceded her in death: Mother: Olivia Irvin, Father: Willie Ernest Washington, Mother In-law Valsee Rutledge-Molett: Brother In-law Paul Molett Jr.: Sister In-law: Barbara Molett-Drennan: Father In-law: Paul Molett Sr. Sister in-law; Norma Lee Matthews, Brother: Kermit Washington: Sister In-law: Crezette Washington and Sister: Sadie Bradley.
