On February 18, 1931 a beautiful baby girl named Willie Lee Sampson was born to Annie Bell Allen and Eddie B. Sampson in Pattison Texas. Willie was the oldest of 8 siblings. In 1949 at the age of 18 Willie Lee married Willie C. Hewitt (who preceded her in death) and had five children. Willie raised her kids to treat people the way you wanted to be treated and to always do the right things in life even when others may do not do the same to you. Above all Willie loved her family no matter what. After raising her five kids Willie took on a new assignment handed down from GOD. She raised three other kids (David, Angela & Otis Youngblood) as they were her own. Willie was truly a child of God and she lived her life as a servant, whether it was for her family, a friend or a stranger her heart had a lot of LOVE. Willie was baptized as a child but she was baptized again recently into the Church of Christ. Willie leaves to cherish her memory five children Gayla Ward (who preceded her in death), Gloria Williams, Gladys Rogers, Charles Hewitt (Bridgitte) and Donna Denson (Charles), eight siblings (Barbara Busby, Eddie Mae Gatlin (who proceeded her in death), Tenise Strange, Clamicie Claire" Coleman, Velma McVade, Eddie B. Sampson and Geneva Jackson, eighteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Willie went on a new journey to her home in heaven. Where there is no more pain, no more tears and no more worries. GOD said come home my child and rest your work is done.
