Nancy Rochelle Wunderlich, age,71, of Spring, TX, passed away on March 19, 2022. She was born in Houston, TX on March 23, 1950 to parents Queen White Weaver and John Weaver. Rochelle graduated from Sam Houston High School. She met Berton Wunderlich in Montgomery County and married on September 3, 1971. Rochelle worked in the Brail Dept. at Region 4 until she retired. She was a member of Candy Stripe, Rainbow Girls, and Eastern Star. Rochelle had a passion for gambling, Sudoku, camping, live music, and watching football and baseball.
Rochelle enjoyed working in her yard on her beautiful plants while listening to the birds sing. She was especially partial to relaxing on her porch in her rocker watching the humming birds eat, and chase each other.
Rochelle was always looking for a dinner partner to go eat out at one of her favorite local restaurants, usually with her family or one of many lifetime friends. She never ate alone. Holidays, birthdays and special events were always on her calendar, as she loved to cook up something special for the occasion.
When Rochelle had some down time (which was never) she would always travel to small nearby communities with her bestie (Denise) and other friends to watch concerts, shows and of course enjoy some great food and conversation.
She is preceded in death by her husband Berton Wunderlich; parents Queen and John Weaver; brother Johnny Weaver; niece Michelle Weaver.
Rochelle is survived by Kevin and Melissa Kleb; Rhonda Festervand; Sharyl and Danel Emert; Rachel and Howard Ferstervand; Paul Wunderlich; Dane and Amy Wunderlich; Wanda and Wayne Blacklock; Chris and Lori Bosley; numerous great nieces and nephews; best friend Denise Woodyard.
You will be missed every day and never forgotten. We know you are in a better place and back together with the love of your life.
A graveside service for Nancy will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Juston Festervand, Seth Blacklock, Jody Blacklock, Michael Festervand, Jordan Festervand, Mason Wunderlich, Michael Schindewolf and Brian Schindewolf.
