She married the love of her life Quineno Palomares on February 25, 1956. Naomi was a woman of great faith and member of Greenwood Village Baptist Church. She was a member of Woodman of the World. She had a passion for sewing, doing crafts, and viewing her cowboy shows. Before retiring, Naomi worked for both Dresser and Abbott laboratories working on medical equipment for hospitals.
Naomi is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Petra Rodriguez; loving husband, Quineno Palomares and son, Albert Palomares.
She is survived by her children, Elida Woodbury, Alice Rubel (late husband Tom), Rosalie Francois (late husband Karl), Alfred Palomares (Mary), Jean Palomares (Chris); twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother, Louis Rodriguez as well as a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM, in the Family Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Woodbury, Adrian Francois, Michael Palomares, Jackson Palomares, Courtney Whitt, Christopher Lovell; and honorary pallbearers, Alfred Palomares, Chris Thomas, Ben Pugh, Jr., and Louis Rodriguez.
