On October 11,1950 A baby boy was born by the name of O.C. Pennamon to John and Claire Pennamon. Born and raised in Settegast, Texas. O.C attended B.C. Elmore High School, where he received his high school diploma and later attended college.
O.C. Pennamon was baptized at an early age at Mt. Cannon Baptist Church on Kenton St. until he later was directed to his new found home at Cornerstone Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Kevin Powe, where he continued to serve the Lord until he was called home.
O.C. was a man who loved to extend his hand to others with a heart of continuous gratitude. He was loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by two older brothers, Willie (Jean) Pen¬namon and Robert Grimes; one sister, Doris Pennamon; his only son, Kerry Stevenson; four grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; great-grandchildren; family; and friends.
