
OLIVIA ESTHER IDROGO, 76 years of The Woodlands, TX passed away on January 14, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1950 in Findlay, OH. Olivia graduated from Sam Houston High School where she was an avid member of the band. She played the drums and loved to participate in the symphonic and marching band. Olivia also graduated from St. Thomas University with her Bachelor’s Degree. Her proudest career accomplishment was obtaining her Master’s Degree from University of Texas – Dallas.
Her working career started with Southwestern Bell in 1969. She excelled at her job and was promoted to higher positions within the technical side of telephone service. When AT&T took over, she became a strong union member.
Olivia loved traveling to Hawaii and Disney World. She was a great fan of Anne Murray.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Senovia Garza Romero, father, Thomas Idrogo Jr., Grandparents both maternal and paternal.
Olivia is survived by her sisters, Veronica Simpson (Walter), Yvonne Coronado, Diana Brown (Ben), Doreen Sams (Robert), and brother, Thomas Idrogo III (Kathy). Although she did not have children of her own, she was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a big influence in our family’s lives and was always saying “I Love You!”. Olivia will be missed!
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, located at 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003, on January 20, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary service will take place at the same venue on January 20, 2026, at 6:00 pm.
A graveside service is scheduled for January 21, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Brookside Memorial Park, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
