

June retired from the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department in 1994. She touched the lives of so many with her kindness as a member of the North Shore High School Band Parents Association, and by volunteering for many years with the Boy Scouts of America and at Crenshaw Elementary. She was a long time member of Uvalde Baptist Church.
Her top priority and most cherished role was as a Christian mother, Meme and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Bertha Stovall; brother Kenneth Stovall; and sisters Vivian Bridges and Barbara Samford.
She was survived by her three children, Ronald C. Day, Jr. of Needville, Texas, Debra Couch and husband David of Katy, Texas, Lisa Norman and husband Michael of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren: Zachary Norman and fiancée Madison LeBlanc, Emily Couch, Makalah Norman, Beau Day, Noah Norman, Brianna Day and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation and services will be at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. The family will receive friends for visitation from 8:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. The funeral service and internment will be in the Family Chapel at 10:30 a.m. followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
Unfortunately, June passed away in a very trying time affected by the corona virus, therefore, the funeral service and internment will be family only. Masks must be worn for visitation and services.
