Ona Melton of Trinity, Texas went to be with the Lord Jesus, Friday, November 21, 2014, Many were blessed from her daily prayers. She was a six year boy scout den mother, loved playing piano, reading and flower gardening. Ona also influenced many on the importance of healing foods. Calvery Tabernacle Pentecostal Church was her church home. Ms. Melton is preceded in death by her husband, G.A.Melton and her son, Patrick Kingston. Those who survive her are her son, Micheal Kingston; grandson, Dale Kingston and wife Marina; granddaughter, Kary Hokett and husband Michael, Deana Vavra and husband Tim; great grandchildren: Tyler Kingston and wife Raluca, Kyle, Sebastian and Sophia Kingston, Isaac, Isaiah and Shawn Hokett, Makenna McBride and Lucas Vavra. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25th from 12-2pm with Funeral Services to begin at 2pm in the Family Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
