She was born the 5th of April 1967, in Memphis, Tennessee, to William G. Phillips and Paula Gaddis. On the 1st of August 1992, she married Eric Olmo in Lawrence, Kansas. However, she and Eric were inseparable from their first date on the 12th of November 1986 – spending 39 wonderful years together.
Paige was a preschool teacher at Stepping Stones in Lawrence until transitioning to the role of full-time co-CEO of the Olmo household. She made homes in Lawrence, KS; Dakota Dunes, SD; Prairie Village, KS; before settling in Katy, TX in 2004. She was an advocate for young children while at the University of Kansas with Head Start and at-risk toddlers, an active member in the PTA and her children’s classrooms as a volunteer, and as a cancer patient she became a member of a variety of groups advocating and commissioning research into metastatic breast cancer. Beyond the towering love for her family, Paige loved working outdoors, tapping into her creativity whether that was painting, photography, or decorating with her amazing style, most definitely her dog/shadow Theo and her very active lifestyle (running, yoga, pilates to name a few).
Paige left an indelible mark on all those that entered her orbit over the course of her wonderful life. She was a person of compassion, strength and companionship to all her loved ones. And she had an indomitable will and bias for action.
She is survived by her daughter Gabrielle, her son Tyler and her husband Eric and a legion of her amazing family.
The family will gather for private services at a later date.
