

Pat William Poore, born on Friday, May 9, 1941, in Houston, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2026, passing peacefully at his home in Kingwood, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family.
Pat shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, his wife, Charlene Mae Lee Poore. Together, they built a life grounded in love, resilience, and partnership.
He was a proud father of three beautiful daughters: Linda Gale Masters (husband Claude Masters), Gwendolyn Charlotte Hutton (husband Jeffrey Hutton), and Bridget Michelle Weiss. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Patrick Thomas Masters (wife Christina Masters), Jackson Ryan Weiss, and Zoey Michelle Weiss, and great-grandchild, Braden Thomas Masters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Harrison Poore and Wilma Eunice Poore; his brothers, Jimmie Herman Poore, Carroll Herman Poore, and David Lee Poore; and his sisters, Lillian Virginia Walters, Eunice Velma Sanders, and Rita Joan Wierzbicki.
Pat dedicated his life to his craft as a machinist and proudly owned and operated his own machine shop for over a decade. Known for his skill and determination, there was nothing he couldn’t fix or build.
In his younger years, Pat enjoyed singing and boxing and excelled at both. He remained a lifelong fan of music and sports. In his free time, he also found joy in fishing, visiting casinos, and most of all, spending time with his family. He took great pride in helping care for his grandchildren and being present in their lives.
His faith was the foundation of who he was, and he deeply loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Pat will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his capable hands, his steady presence, and the love he gave so freely to his family. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cousins. His life leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and quiet strength that will live on in all who knew and loved him.
