Dear Aunt Pat,

Our hearts are heavy as we write this. It’s so hard to say goodbye.

Aunt Pat, we will truly miss you. The love and care you showed us throughout our lives will never be forgotten. From the time we were little girls, you treated us with so much kindness, like we were your own. You gave us memories that we’ll cherish forever.

We remember spending summers with you—those were some of the best times of our childhood. You always made us feel special. We’ll never forget riding the Metro buses while you were driving, feeling so proud that our Aunt Pat was behind the wheel. And oh, the shopping trips! You knew just how to make a simple day feel like an adventure.

Thank you for your love, your strength, and the light you brought into our lives. You were a blessing to our family, and your spirit will forever live in our hearts.

Patricia, I’m going to miss you so much. I’ll miss your warmth, your laughter, and most of all, the way you always opened your home—and your heart—to me and my girls. You didn’t just welcome us in; you made us feel like we belonged, like we were safe and loved. That meant everything to me.

You had a special way of making a house feel like home. Your kindness, your spirit, and your generous heart will never be forgotten. The memories we shared under your roof will live on in mine.

Aunt Pat Ann, you will truly be missed. As a young child you taught me so much. You treated me like I was your daughter. I remember riding around everywhere with you.  I remember when you took me to get my hair done at Ms. Carry and told me when I get my perm I better not start crying in that shop. So I put on a big girl smile and made you proud. I use to love your crunchy rice yes crunchy rice lol. Love you until we meet again on the other side tell Sidonia we love her.
