Patricia Ann Poullard-Clay

Patricia accepted Christ at Peaceful Rest Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Lewis. She attended and graduated from Kashmere High School in 1981. She united in holy matrimony to Mike Clay in April 1994. She loved to attend church where she often attended New Light Christian Center Church. For thirty years she worked as a Retail Manager at Exxon Mobile in Houston, Texas and later as a Detention Officer at Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, Texas until her passing.

PATRICIA: P-Personable, A- Awesome, T-Thoughtful, R-Radiant, I-Immaculate, C-Caring, I-Impressive, A-Always there for her family and friends. She was full of life, witty and straight forward. You could often find her spending time with her family, dancing to her favorite Zydeco tunes and always finding time to help and enlighten her Nieces and Nephews. She was everyone’s favorite Auntie.

On Monday December 27, 2021 God lifted Patricia from this earth to join his heavenly garden. She was preceded in death by her father JC Poullard and mother Mable Poullard.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her three Goddaughters Shawnta Titus, Ryjenique Poullard and Jaleesa Shamsid-Deen, one Godson Jakoi Shamsid-Deen, eight siblings Mary Jane Poullard (James), Bernadine Poullard Williams, Katherine Poullard Williams, Marie Poullard (James), Maxine Poullard, , JC Poullard Jr. (LaShone), Michael Poullard and Reginald Poullard (Bridgette). Aunts and Uncles JC Mitchell, Janora Jones, Beulah Williams (Wesley), Annie Bell Thomas (Houston), Julia Guillory, Allen Mitchell Sr. and Alvin Mitchell; twenty-four (24) Nieces and Nephews, twenty-nine (29) Great Nieces and Nephews, nine (9) Great Great Nieces and Nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. As well as her special close friends/sisters and coworkers.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Joy M.B.C., 4531 Yellowstone Blvd., Houston, TX 77021. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 4531 Yellowstone Blvd., Houston, TX 77021. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088.
