Patricia Mary Rigsby

Patricia Mary Rigsby, 95, of Houston, Texas passed away November 1, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 13, 1927. Patricia Mary Rigsby graduated from French High School and received a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Houston.

Patricia was married to Wallace E. Vidrine Jr. and raised four children. Later in life, she married Joe W. Rigsby in 2008 until his passing. Patricia Mary Rigsby had a long career in teaching with several school districts around Houston which spanned 49 years. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Xi Lambda Delta, and Delta Kappa Gamma sororities and has a passion for painting with oils and watercolors.

She is survived by her children: Richard Vidrine, Michael Vidrine, Elyse Moore, and David Vidrine. Grandchildren: Richard Vidrine Jr., Christopher Vidrine, Michael Vidrine Jr., Andrea Vidrine, Tiffany Cole, Brian Saldivar, and David Vidrine Jr. Great grandchildren: Madison Vidrine, Grayson Vidrine, Kendall Vidrine, Declan Cole, Riley Cole, Penelope Saldivar, and Rosali Saldivar. Sisters Myrna Gray, Edwina McCauley, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
