Surrounded by her husband and children, Patricia Weyel passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at the age of 81. Patricia Ann was born to James and Ann Faulkner on October 21, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas. Patricia graduated from Providence Catholic School in 1958. She met Harry J. Weyel Jr. in San Antonio, and they were married in Fort Benning, Georgia in 1962. Their wedded bliss lasted 58 years. Patricia was a stay at home mom before she began working in retail, until she retired in 2001 at the age of 62.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Harry (Butch), children Harry III (Trey) and wife Lori, Virginia (Jenny), Lillian, and Elizabeth (Betsy) and husband Mike. She has 7 grandchildren, Kristina, Taylor, Austin, Brittany, Samantha, Matthew, and Jack. Her great grandchildren are Jeannie Ann (who loved watching horror movies with her), Patrick (who remembers her as always nice and the best grandma ever), Zachary (who loved watching cartoons with her) Brooklynn (who got tickled and called Baby Doll by her), and soon to be born Avery Ann.
The memories we will always cherish about our mom is the love she has for God and her church, Elvis, jewelry, horror movies, puzzle books, games – both card and electronic, Google cards, BINGO, cooking, the Astros, toys that light up and make noise, playing those slots, how much she loves her family, and Dad with his 58 years of memories.
We will have a viewing on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 3:00 – 7:00, at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas, 77038. On Wednesday, April 7, we will have a service at 11:30, followed by the interment at 12:35 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas.
