

Patricia Annette Wright, of Spring, Texas, passed away on April 24, 2026. She was 64 and was born on May 11, 1961, in Goliad, Texas. She grew up in Old Bethpage, NY and attended SUNY Albany for her undergraduate degree and obtained a graduate degree at Fashion Institute of Technology.
Patricia was widely known for her creativity and artistic spirit. This was evidenced by her signature creation / website “Artistic Madness.” She had a remarkable talent for transforming ordinary items into beautiful works of art, and for many years she worked as a Visual Merchandiser.
Her eye for beauty extended into Interior Design, where she brought warmth and personality into every space she touched.
Patricia also found success in sales, notably as a top perfume seller at Dillard’s, where her vibrant personality and connection with others left a lasting impression.
Patricia was deeply devoted to her family. She was generous in her gift giving and very known for her unconventional gifts. She loved to make others laugh and had an outrageous sense of humor.
Her loved ones will remember her as loyal, resilient, and determined —she withstood many trials in her life and still pushed on. Some would say she almost had “Nine Lives” similar to what they say about cats! Speaking of cats… she loved her cats and would often refer to them as “her children.”
She is survived by her siblings:
Bruce Wright and his daughters Kelly, Sierra, and Sienna;
Michael Wright and his wife Amie Sun Wright, and their children Alan, Mia, Matthew, Alaiah as well as her husband Cristian and their baby;
Teresa Wright Blake and her husband Jon, with their children Cara, Jonathan Jr., and Jonathan Jr.’s wife,Brie.
She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Thurman Wright; her brother, Barry Wright; and many dear relatives, including her cherished Godmother, Doris Ramsey.
Patricia will be remembered for her boundless creativity, her humor, and the wonder she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her artistic legacy and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will truly be missed and forever loved.
