

Paul’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his family at his ranch in Kimble County, Texas. Paul enjoyed working with stones and minerals and created many beautiful spheres and polished objects. He traveled extensively throughout the world and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing adventures. Paul was co-founder and co-owner of Tubes, Inc. and will be remembered for his ethical approach to business.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Theron Burr and Lily Mae McGarry of Wright City, OK; and sisters, Georgia Lee McGarry of Wright City, OK, and Delcie Mabe of Tulsa, OK. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole Stovall McGarry of Houston; daughter, Laurie Klose and husband Karl, and their son, Kyle of San Antonio; son, Scott McGarry and wife Beth and their sons, Paul, Jack, and Peter of Houston; sister, Barbara Porman and husband Paul of Gainsville, GA and their daughters, Emilie Lancaster of Atlanta, GA, and Lynn Porman of Delaware, OH; sister, Toni Allen and husband Tom and their daughters, Tama Lester and Amy Smalley of Broken Bow, OK; and niece, Dottie Bearden of Tulsa, OK.
The memorial service will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 24th of January, in the sanctuary of Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay in Houston. Immediately following, friends are invited to greet the family during a reception in the nearby parlor.
