Pauline Bryant

Pauline Bryant was the 2nd born of Lloyd W. Washington, Sr., and Ollie Lee Phenix-Washington, on October 16, 1933, in Lexington, Texas.

She married Norman L. Bryant, Sr. May 13, 1958. To this union four children were born, Norman Jr., Laura, Eric, and Michael.

Pauline departed this life October 12, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Bryant, Sr., one son Eric E. Bryant, one granddaughter Mykeal L. Bryant, her parents Lloyd W. Washington Sr., Ollie L. Phenix Washington, two sisters Jewel Jones, Aquila Herd, and four brothers Lloyd W. Washington, Jr, Delbert L. Washington, Clement J. Washington, Sr., Willie G. Washington.

She is survived by: three children; Norman L. Bryant, Jr. of Woodbridge, Virginia, Laura L. Smith and Michael L. Bryant all of Houston, Texas; one brother Robert O. Washington, Houston, Texas and two sisters Lorene Jackson, Brenham, Texas and Mildred Dorsey, Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren: Shannon E. Henfield, Damone D. Giles, Norman L. Bryant, III, Kei-Erica J. Bryant, Justin K. Gaspar, Chantel N. Smith, Crystal N. Bryant, Jasmine A. Bryant, Lena M. Bryant; three great grandchildren: Jermaine A. Henfield, II, Elisha C. Henfield and Elijah P.S. Bryant; daughters-in-law Martina Bryant, Libby Bryant and son-in-law Al Smith, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Pauline will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10am to 11am at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088, followed by a funeral service from 11am to 12pm. Following the funeral service will be a committal Paradise North Cemetery.
