Pedro Rodriguez Jr.

Pedro Rodriguez, Jr., 72 of Houston passed away June 6, 2024. Pedro was born on April 13, 1952, in Houston, Tx. to Pedro, Sr. and Rubelina Rodriguez.

Pedro better known as Pete or “Pistol Pete” was born and raised in Houston's Second Ward/East End, where he joined and served honorably in the United States Navy. He was grateful and proud of his time in the Navy, seeing the world and making lifelong friends.

Pete also mentored and changed the lives of several young men during his work at AAMA. He also worked countless hours in The Go Tejano Committee with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and volunteered time with Harris County Precinct 6 Constables.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Rodriguez, Sr. and Rubelina Rodriguez. His sisters, Candance Rodriguez, Rosalinda M. Haynes and Sandra K. Borjas. His granddaughters, Leslie Villalobos and Madison E. Villalobos. His nephew, Charles M. Rodriguez.

He is survived by his brother, Luis Carlos Rodriguez, wife Sylvia Rodriguez.

His daughters, Angela R. Villalobos, husband, Jorge A. Villalobos, Jr. and Jenny E. Rodriguez and husband, Carlos Sanchez.

His grandchildren, Taylor C. Sordia, Andrew J. Sanchez, Aiden J. Villalobos, Carlee A. Sanchez and Aaron M. Villalobos.

His great grandchild, Sebastian Ortiz.

Also several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Pedro will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, With a Military Honors @ 4:00 p.m.@ 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, followed by a rosary service from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
