Peggy Lois McShan, 81, wife, mother, nanny, and friend, passed away September 12, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, David “Luke” and Olive Samford; sisters: Dorothy Clayton, Pauline Hudson, Wanda Ehmling, Agatha Portie, and LaVerne Lamb. Peggy was a graduate of Reagan High School where she was a member of the Red Coats. She was a pianist for many years at Lindale Assembly of God Church and also the choir director for a long time at Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Peggy leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Elbert Lee “Peck” McShan, Jr; precious daughter, Carolyn Rogers and husband Guy; grandchildren: Kimberly Adams, Kevin Adams and wife Cristina, Ashley Rogers; great grandchildren: Alex Adams, Ava Adams, Ryder Kirk; along with numerous other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, September 16th at Brookside Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am, Friday, September 17th in Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
