Penney Shipman Brooks

Penney Shipman (Kaye) Brooks, 77 retired paramedic, Houston pass away Saturday, June 3, 2023. Penney was born October 8, 1945 in Oklahoma the daughter of Jesse Cleveland (JC) and Evelyn Shipman. Proceeded in death by her husband William (Bill) and son Christopher. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Crystal Brooks; Sons and daughter-in law, Michael and Lisa Brooks, Timothy Brooks, brother Kenney Shipman; grandchildren, Ashlee, Preston and Christopher, 6 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives. She loved her family, she volunteered at Little York Fire Department for many years, and she loved horses she worked at Sam Houston Race Park as a teller for over 15 yrs. before retiring. Graveside services will be held Thursday June 8th at 2:00 p.m. in Bagdad Cemetery, Leander, Texas. Memorial services will be held June 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Gardens.
