

Perfecto Ramirez Jr. was a good and caring man who loved his family deeply and showed that love every day through his actions, his humor, and his devotion to those around him. He was the kind of man who made people feel welcome, whether through a good joke, a plate of his barbecue, or simply spending time together.
He enjoyed taking road trips, going out to eat, and sharing laughs with family and friends. A devoted Houston Astros fan, he rarely missed a chance to cheer them on. He also took great pride in his home, always keeping a beautiful yard and tending to his plants with a true green thumb.
Perfecto dedicated 20 years of service to the Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct 6, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. He was proud of his career and the work he did serving the community.
Above all else, he loved spending time with the family and entertaining. His love, guidance, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ruben Ramirez, and stepson, Henry Martinez.
Perfecto is survived by his wife of 41 years, Esperanza Ramirez and his step children; Larry Martinez and wife Suzanne Martinez, Judy Martinez, Sandra Martinez and husband Walid Darwish ; children, Paula Esther and husband Frank Guthrie, Ernest and wife Bertha Ramirez, Martin Ramirez, Perfecto III and wife Beatrice Ramirez, Sandra and husband Lloyd Vasquez, and daughter in law, Denise Ramirez; 25 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Mary Vasquez and husband Reynaldo Vasquez, Matilda Saenz, Elva Cardenas and husband Enrique Cardenas, Luis Ramirez and wife Robeye Ramirez, Janie Lara, Rose Mae Rubashkin, Robert Lee Ramirez, Consuelo (Connie) Esqueda, Diana Ramirez, Alice Valles and husband Raymond Valles.
A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Oak Chapel, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039, on January 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at the same location on January 18, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for January 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Oak Chapel. Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Brookside Memorial Park, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX, 77039, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
