Perry Frank Wray of Houston, Texas, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 59. Perry was born on September 30, 1958 in Washington, DC. to Charles Donald and Alma Lee (nee Mckenna) Wray.
He is survived by his son Parker Ryan Wray of Pasadena, California, his father Charles “Don” Wray of The Woodlands, Texas, older sister Donna Kay (nee Wray) Wagner and husband John of The Woodlands, Texas, younger brother Robert Lee Wray and wife Joan of Spring, Texas and his niece, nephews, other family, and a host of loving friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alma Wray (2014), and his twin brother, Patrick “Pat” Charles Wray (2014).
Perry graduated from Dulles High School, Sugarland, Texas, in 1977 and attended the University of Houston from 1977 to 1980. He worked for Pennzoil Company in Houston, Texas from 1980 to 1996 where he served as the Manager of Information Technology Operations. He served as Director of Information Technology at Fisk Electric Company in Houston, Texas from 1996 until his death. In his younger years, Perry enjoyed jet skiing, golfing, riding his Harley, and sharing time with friends and family. He was most proud of his son, Parker, and bragged on him frequently. He will be missed, loved always, and remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A remembrance and celebration of Perry’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home in Houston, Texas. At Perry’s wishes, he will be cremated.
