Phillip James Anderson

Phillip James Anderson was born on February 15, 1965, in Houston,Texas. Phillip was the youngest of seven children born to the late Eldridge Anderson, Sr., and Margaret Glover Anderson.

Phillip accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a warm-spirited person who loved family and could make you laugh. He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, Texas.

Phillip James Anderson departed this life and entered into rest on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Phillip leaves to cherish the happiness of his life his caring and devoted wife, Ms. Sonja Thomas Anderson; three sons, Justin Thomas, Phillip Anderson, Jr. and Jeremiah Anderson; one daughter, Shambra Thomas; one brother, Eldridge Anderson, Jr.; four sisters, Barbara Johnson, Patricia Edgley, Sandra Johnson and Anita Parker; grandchildren, Aldric Hawthorn, Kamryn Ross, Landon Ross, Shaelyn Ross and Yanis Anderson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge Anderson, Sr. and Margaret Glover Anderson; his youngest daughter, Philsha Thomas; and his oldest brother, Jonathan Anderson.

A visitation for Philip will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. The funeral will immediately follow from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The committal will be held immediately following services from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at PARADISE NORTH CEMETERY, 10401 West Montgomery, HOUSTON, TX 77088.
