Quyen Vo-Pham

Mr. Quyen Vo-Pham, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the age of 87.

Quyen was born to parents Jean Vo-Pham and Sang Thi Nguyen on June 6, 1937 in Phu Xuong, Vietnam. He joined the military and proudly served his country to the best of his ability. Quyen married Ngoc-Ly Nguyen in 1966. They enjoyed a good life in Vietnam and welcomed one daughter and then another into their family. Uprooted by the Vietnam War, the family migrated to the United States in 1975, first living in Austin and then eventually settling in Houston, Texas. As they struggled to build a new life in a foreign land, they always made sure their children had everything they needed. Quyen worked as an electronic technician and then became the owner of a video rental store. He prided himself on doing everything to the best of his abilities. Quyen enjoyed reading, fishing, and cooking. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.

Quyen is preceded in death by his wife Ngoc-Ly Vo-Pham. He is survived by his daughter Ngoc-Quyen Le; his daughter Thao Ngoc Vo-Pham; and his grandchildren Son Le, Alex Ha-Vo, and Alain Ha-Vo.

A viewing and reception will be held for family and friends on Monday June 9, 2025 between the hours of 12:00 and 8:00 p.m., at the Garden Oaks Funeral Home, 13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083.
