Raymond Edward Mitchell

Our hearts are heavy as we gather to celebrate the life of our beloved brother, Raymond Mitchell.

Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit, laughter and love will remain with us always.

Raymond was one of a kind - a true original. Known for his quick wit, silly laugh, and endless supply of

threats, he could make anyone laugh, even on the toughest days. Whether it was a well-timed joke, a harmless trick, or a laugh that filled the whole room, Raymond had a gift for bringing joy (and sometimes a little chaos) wherever he went. He was also, as anyone who knew him will tell you, one of the most stubborn people on earth - a true hard head on every sense. Once he set his mind on something, there was no changing it. There are a few people here that know he would hit you on the top of your nose and black both of your eyes if he knew you were here. That same determination and fire made him fiercely loyal, deeply loving, and the kind of person who stood up for what he believed in and for the people he cared about.

Raymond was the spark for us. The one who could turn any moment into a story worth retelling. His absence leaves a silence that no laughter can quite fill, but his memory will continue to echo in every

joke shared and every smile he inspired.

He is survived by his daughter Rayna, his siblings, Reginald, Anita and Robert, his fiancé LeKendra,

and countless friends who loved him like family.

As we celebrate Raymond’s life today, may we remember him not with sorrow, but with smiles - just as he would want. His spirit will live on in every laugh shared, every memory told, and every heart he touched.

Rest in peace Raymond. You were one of a kind and we wouldn’t have it any other way
