

Rebecca Evangelyn Thames1973-2017 Rebecca Evangelyn Thames, age 43, of Houston, TX went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, the 26th of March 2017. Rebecca grew up in Odessa, TX. She graduated from Permian High School in 1992 and from Baylor University in 1996.
She loved healing people with her hands and feet through massage. She loved her friends and her church. Her family was very important to her, but being an aunt to her nieces & nephews was her favorite job. Her hobbies included rollerblading, road trips to the nearest Rosa's Cafe, and finding the perfect gift for people.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents Joe & Lucille Thames and David & Jane Reddell. She is survived by her parents, Jimmy Ray & Suzanne (Reddell) Thames; sister & brother-in-law Heather & Cris Parson; brother Kory (Thames) Harmon & wife; sister & brother-in-law Kari & Tony Hodge; brother & sister-in-law Jeff & Amanda Thames; and sister Jennifer Thames Gillett. Rebecca is also survived by her favorite people - her nieces & nephews: Holly Parson Floyd & Adam Floyd, Catherine Parson, Analeigh Thames, Raylie Thames, Jewel Thames, Henry Thames, Giselle Gillett, Ezra Gillett, Isaiah Gillett, and her first great-niece Rey Floyd. Rebecca also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her very much.
The interment service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 30th of March, at Mineral Cemetery in Mineral Texas.
The memorial service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 1st of April, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Immediately following the service, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
