Becky-Lou received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University in 1983 and went on to get her Masters Degree in nursing. She enjoyed a long career as a nurse midwife working in labor and delivery and then spent many years as a school nurse. She loved working with the babies and the school children for more than 40 years.
She also loved performing. Becky-Lou was a Mezzo-Soprano who trained at the John F. Kennedy Opera House. She appeared in many musical theater productions throughout the years as well as being a professional vocalist. She sang at many churches, along with weddings, funerals, baptisms and other events. She impacted many lives in the Greater Houston area in this effort.
She delighted in bringing joy to audiences any chance she had. This included being the sweetest Mrs. Claus there ever was.
